SENTRI Photo Taken at Your Interview
SENTRI gives pre-approved travelers faster entry at U.S.–Mexico land border crossings. You do not submit a photo: CBP takes your photo and fingerprints at the enrollment interview, where your vehicle is also inspected if you plan to drive through.

How SENTRI enrollment works
Apply online through the Trusted Traveler Programs website. After conditional approval, schedule an interview at a SENTRI enrollment center. The officer captures your photo and fingerprints and inspects any vehicle you register.
The application itself does not ask for a photo.

Bring the documents listed in your conditional approval notice.
- A valid passport or other approved proof of citizenship
- Vehicle registration and proof of insurance if driving
- A new passport first if yours is about to expire
