NEXUS Photo Taken at Your Interview
NEXUS is the joint U.S.–Canada trusted traveler program. You do not submit a photo with the application: after conditional approval, U.S. and Canadian officers interview you and take your photo and fingerprints at an enrollment center.

How NEXUS enrollment works
You apply online through your Trusted Traveler Programs account. If both countries approve you conditionally, you book an interview at an enrollment center, where officers verify your documents and capture your photo and fingerprints.
Nothing about the application asks you to supply a photo.
Passports and NEXUS
Bring the passport listed on your application. If it expires soon, renew it before the interview.
- U.S. passport renewal: 2x2 photo taken within 6 months
- Canadian passport: 50x70 mm photo from a commercial photographer
- Update your document numbers in your account after renewal
